Community Improvement Committee

May 1, 2026

CALL TO ACTION!!!

WHAT:
We need the community’s help and I hope many of you will have an interest in participating!!

WHO:
Anyone who has an interest in helping to transform the Village’s public spaces and events.

WHEN:
The Village of Lannon is holding an informational meeting on Wednesday May 6th, 2026 at 6:00 pm. This will be an informal open forum format where interested parties can come and seek more information, ask questions, or simply see what is going on.

WHERE:
Lannon Village Hall (20399 W Main St. Lannon, WI 53046)

WHY:
The Village is seeking to form a subcommittee of local stakeholders, citizen and businesses, that are willing to help out in various capacities that either suit their talents and experience, or that they have a particular interest in the improvement of Lannon as a community.

This Subcommittee would provide opportunities for people to get involved in a number of areas. Some of those areas might include things like the following:

– [ ] Event coordination or participation in current or future events. This would include things like our annual X-mas Tree Lighting, Easter and Halloween events. Possibilities of other events might include things like a concert or food truck night for example.
– [ ] Community beautification to help make our Village more appealing from the street for our residents and visitors.
– [ ] Capital campaigns to raise and manage funds for things like the possible Pocket Park and improvements to our existing Joeck’s Park.

This would be a completely new Subcommittee of the Parks, Recreation and Beautification committee and the members would have an opportunity to provide recommendations to the Village Board. If committing to a formal committee is too much for you at this time, do not fret, we are also seeking people to get involved as volunteers that assist the subcommittee as well.

Lannon’s Featured Business: Mibb’s & Viv’s

April 10, 2024

Featured Business

Mibb’s & Viv’s

Mibb’s & Viv’s is famous for its Fish Frys and Legendary Broasted Chicken. Their historic location in Lannon, Wisconsin has a tradition for fine food, friendly folks and good spirits. The authentic restaurant dates back to 1945 when the Monacelli family started the restaurant and in 1975 Ronald and Patsy Monacelli took over operations from Ron’s parents. From there, they built a strong foundation of good food and good people by serving Lannon and the surrounding communities (until Ronald’s passing in 2005.) Since then, Michael and Gina Monacelli have been successfully operating Mibb’s & Viv’s and have continued the family tradition.

“Our family-style menu options, including our legendary broasted chicken, is guaranteed to leave everyone full and satisfied.”
